This Boston Terrier dog ashtray is fabulous! Made of bone china, this vintage cutie is perfect for anyone collecting Boston Terrier or simply dog collectibles.
Adorable Boston Terrier is sitting back and center with a dog bone in its mount. Baby blue on white colorization. Ashtray measures 3 1/2" at widest point. Boston Terrier measures 1 1/4" high (not including the ashtray itself). Clearly marked Bone China on the bottom. Circa 1950's is my best guess. Excellent condition with no chips or other damage observed.
We purchased this item as part of a whole household estate in Chatham, Virginia, when we had our bricks and mortar antique shop there. It's been in our storage since 1998.
I'm compelled to add that I have similar little ashtrays all over the house and, more specifically, next to each sink. They're perfect for holding your rings while you're washing your hands! They also make wonderful little dishes for paperclips, small jewelry items, you get the picture!
